"DYING HARP AFTER DREAMING OF A MUSICAL PIECE IN GIS-MINOR"

The sculpture is based on and is a tribute to Dalí's world-famous painting from 1941 "PASSENGER VEHICLE DRESSED IN 1941". https://wanderlord.com/automobiles-history/interesting-car-by-salvador-dali/
It shows a pedal harp, which is - in accordance with surrealistic nightmares - penetrated by wooden excesses and "ossified" itself. The bronze sculpture, a pretty, female "harp" sits lovely on top and does not notice the destructive effects of her dream. It dissolves, cracks and becomes one with the organic form of nature.

"STERBENDE HARFE NACH DEM TRAUM VON EINEM MUSIKALISCHEN STÜCK IN GIS-MOLL" ist in Anlehnung und Hommage an Dalís weltberühmtes Gemälde von 1941 "AUTO BEKLEIDEND BEKLEIDETE PERSONENKRAFTWAGEN 1941" entstanden.
Sie zeigt eine Pedalharfe, das entsprechend surrealistischen Alpträumen von hölzernen Auswüchsen durchdrungen wird und selbst "verknöchert". Die Bronzeskulptur, einer weiblichen, hübschen "Harfe" sitzt lieblich an oberster Stelle und bemerkt die zerstörerische Auswirkung ihres Traums nicht. Dabei löst sie sich auf, bekommt Risse und wird eins mit der organischen Form der Natur.
